How To Setup Maxthon Web Browser with a SOCKS5 Proxy Server


1. Open Maxthon > Settings

2. Click on Proxy > Use custom proxy settings > Add

4. Enter in a Name, Choose SOCKS5 from the list > Enter in a SOCKS5 Address.  Full list and details about SOCSK5 servers can be found HERE

5. Make sure to set the below settings

6. Once the above has been done, visit WHATISMYIP to check the IP has been changed.
